Ground Source Heating
After purchasing my own trencher over two years ago it has allowed me to venture out into ground source heating. This came about after a customer of mine, which i had previously been completing ground work for, made the request.
This turned into a great opportunity for me. Retherm, a company from Stoke on Trent, contacted me to help them on a job to complete the ground work. From this, I built up a fantastic rapport with them. This set my ground source heating venture off, and as of now, I have completed 16 jobs! Their role is to complete the stage of connecting the interlink to the manifold, then into the plant room, which is then connected to your heating system, allowing you to benefit from the eventually free heating and hot water!
The average pipe length you will find is around 800m but can vary depending on the size of the property. View my Contact page and send me an email if you require any more information, and I will happily come out and see you.
The advantage of ground source heating is that with the Renweable Heat Incentive it is possible to recoup the cost of your system within 5 years, with a life expectancy of 20 years. It makes complete sense to look at installing a system such as this rather than a traditional boiler.
